5V Stepper Motor 24BYJ-48

This 28BYJ-48 5V Stepper Motor is low-cost stepper motor. This model is normally used in the manufacturing of air-conditioners, automatic window blinds and other applications where high torque is more important than high speed. The motor is internally geared with a ratio of about 64:1 (more precisely 63.68395:1) and rotates with about 15rpm at 12V.

The motor can be used together with all stepper motor drivers for unipolar motors. The red wire should then be connected to ground (GND), orange/pink to M1 (or similar) and blue/yellow to M2 (or similar). Can also easily be driven by discrete transistors or a darlington driver (ULN2003).
